- When using speakers, the following points should be noted:
(1) The power obtained by the speaker should not exceed its rated power, otherwise it may burn out the voice coil or cause the voice coil to oscillate. The working voltage of electromagnetic and piezoelectric ceramic speakers should not exceed 30V.
(2) Note that the impedance of the speaker should match the output line, and the specific method can be seen in the amplifier section.
(3) Choose the correct speaker model. If used in the square, a bass speaker should be used; When used indoors, paper basin type speakers should be selected and auxiliary speakers should be selected. High and low pitched speakers can also be made into speaker groups to expand the frequency response range.
(4) When arranging speakers, it is necessary to achieve a uniform and sufficient sound level. If a single (point) speaker cannot meet the needs, multiple points can be set to ensure that every listener has almost the same sound loudness and improve the resolution of the sound; Having a good sense of orientation, the speaker should be installed at least 3 meters above the ground to allow the audience to "see" the speaker, and try to ensure that the horizontal auditory (sound source) and visual (speaker) directions are as consistent as possible, and the distance between the two speakers should not be too large.
(5) Electric horn type speakers must have the sound head covered on the horn before use, otherwise it is easy to damage the sound head.
(6) When using two or more speakers together, attention must be paid to phase issues. If it is inverted, the sound will be significantly weakened. The simplest method to determine the phase of a speaker is to use a high sensitivity meter or a multimeter of 50-250 μ A current level, connect the test meter to the wiring terminal of the speaker, hold the paper basin with both hands, and push it vigorously. At this time, their phase can be measured from the swing direction of the watch needle. If the phase is the same, the watch needle swings in one direction. At this point, the voice coil connected to the positive pen can be introduced as the "ten" level.
